Episode 93: Chris tells you the story of how MOT Manager was born. This is our story.
MOT Manager was created in May 2016. Chris already had an established text marketing company with an array of different clientele, from garages to hair salons. The only thing at the time was the MOT text reminders were a very manual process. You had to enter the expiry date, every time! "There must be a far more efficient way for garage owners" - Chris.
Chris teamed up with Robbie & Steven. Robbie has over 30 years of app and website development. Within a matter of a 3-course evening meal, Robbie had created a vehicle registration look-up code on his laptop. This meant you only had to enter a car's reg and customer's mobile number, the rest was all automated and sent a branded text message from the garage three weeks before the MOT expired. MOT Manager was born. Since then we have grown to 850+ users across the UK and now offer; digital diary, service reminders, invoicing and the fastest online booking.
